• BOVAG is the largest industry association in the Netherlands in the field of mobility, with more than 8,000 members across various sectors.
• The organization represents the interests of, among others, car, motorcycle, and bicycle businesses, and also issues a quality certification label.
• Since 2021, BOVAG has been actively involved as a co-owner of Heskon BV.

• Maintenance and repair of VanMoof batteries is highly specialized work. Therefore, a partnership was established with Heskon for all battery models that were brought to market before the VanMoof’s relaunch.
• Heskon also repairs LMT batteries for consumers when the e-bike is no longer covered by the factory warranty due to its age.

• In the Netherlands, NIPV is regarded as the leading knowledge and research institute in the field of crisis management and fire services.
• With the rise of electric mobility, lithium batteries have become an increasingly important topic for fire departments in recent years.
• NIPV is, among other things, responsible for national training programs for firefighters.
• Drawing on its hands-on expertise in lithium batteries, Heskon played a key advisory role in improving training programs and firefighting tactics.
